Private Sessions – Alexander Technique / Yoga / RAIN Meditation / Mindful Touch

Each private session is tailored to what you need on the day. You don’t need to know in advance which modality is right for you — we can explore that together before or at the start of our session.

Alexander Technique A re-education method that helps you recognise and break deeply embedded habits. Through gentle hands-on guidance and movement exploration, you learn to pause, release undue tension, and create new neural pathways in how you use your body and mind. Sessions include table work, chair work, and everyday movements adapted to your specific needs and life.

Private Yoga A yoga session built entirely around your body, your challenges, and where you are today — not a fixed sequence. Whether you’re working with an injury, exploring alignment, or simply wanting more personal attention, this is yoga designed for you.

RAIN Meditation A guided meditation session using the RAIN technique — Recognise, Allow, Investigate, Nurture — to help you process difficult emotions, soften habitual mental patterns, and find steadiness. No prior meditation experience needed.

Mindful Touch A gentle, intuitive hands-on session drawing from Alexander Technique and somatic awareness to support nervous system regulation and a deeper sense of body presence. Often accompanied by music, each session follows what the body needs in that moment.

Sessions last 50 minutes.

Meditation Course: Exploring the negativity bias

We all have an active negativity bias inside of us. In this six week course we will look at several aspects of meditation that can help make this bias lighter.

 

How does “Exploring the Negativity Bias” Meditation Course work?

Each class will consist of:

  • an introduction explaining the aspect of the meditation we will look at that day
  • short stretching session to move the body before we sit in stillness
  • 20 minute guided meditation on the topic
  • space for questions and comments (optional)
  • this class is both live and online on Thursday, and the recordings are available on the following Saturday and Sunday, afterwhich they get taken down. The 20 minute meditation remains online for the whole course so that you can practice it daily.

Berlin Meditation Negativity Bias Course Topics:

We will explore how the negativity bias came to be and how strong it is within us, using the following meditation practices:

  • gratitude
  • inner love strengthening
  • loving kindness
  • savoring
  • community building

We will also explore misunderstandings that can be tightly winded with these practices in order to decouple gratitude from guilt and understand the difference between forced toxic positivity versus a healthy positive outlook.

For Whom?

This meditation course on exploring the negativity bias is open to everybody, from complete beginners to advanced students.

What to bring?

Mats, blankets and chairs are provided at the studio. If you use a meditation cushion or bench when you meditate, then please bring that with you.

When?

Every Thursday 8pm starting on February 26th to March 26th, 2026.

Duration:  60 minutes.

The recorded version of this class will get streamed on Saturdays and Sundays. The 20 minute meditation will stay available online for the whole course

Hatha Yoga Level 2

This class if for students who are a bit more advanced, both in terms of focus as in yoga poses. Not for absolute beginners.

This is a computer-free class that does not get streamed online.

This Hatha Yoga Level 2 class is offered in 6-week modules or as a drop-in class at the studio.

Hatha Yoga in English -Hybrid Weekly Class for all levels.

Yoga BerlinThis Hatha Yoga in English class is a gentle yoga for all levels. Pinelopi, the teacher, guides the students to stay present with their bodies throughout the whole class.  Each class ends with a deep relaxation.

This is a hybrid live/online class. The yoga teacher gets streamed live to students participating online. The computer is positioned in a way that only the teacher gets streamed and participants are not seen online. Pinelopi’s main focus is on the live students in the room, with queues and hands-on corrections to those who want them.

This Hatha yoga class is offered in a 6-week modules or as a drop-in class, at the studio or online.

RAIN collective grief session

Collective RAIN Session on the State of the World.

Many of us have been profoundly affected by the U.S. elections this week and are grappling with what these results mean for the world. This moment holds significant implications for climate change, global conflicts, women’s rights, LGBTQ+ issues, healthcare systems, immigration, and democratic processes. The news has deeply pained many of us, leaving us in a state of fight, flight, or freeze at a time when we are being called to act.

It seems that the discourse is no longer about preventing the big crises, but rather about how do we show up to what is happening.

Our first step is to allow ourselves to feel this pain so that we can respond and rise to what is being asked of us. When we take a moment to breathe and feel, we realign with our values, gaining a clearer perspective on the actions that matter most.

If you wish to do this together, I invite you to a Collective RAIN session.

Let us pause to touch on the pain this week has brought, rather than avoid it. Let us feel each other’s presence and remember that we are not alone. By breaking through the isolation of fear, we can find connection and strength in one another.
